Refunds
Last updated: 2026-09-24. This page explains section 8 of the Terms in plain English; if the two ever disagree, the Terms apply.
Bought in the app (iPhone or Android)? Apple and Google are the sellers for those purchases, so refunds go through them, not through us. Ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, or Google through the Play Store's order history. If they grant a refund, your ad is taken down automatically.
Bought on the website (card payment)? Write to info@polappka.com from the e-mail address on the account, and say which payment it is about.
What you get back
| Situation | Refund |
|---|---|
| Your ad has not gone live yet (for example it is scheduled to start next week) | Everything you paid. |
| Your ad is live or has already run | The difference between what you paid and the price of the shortest plan that covers the days it was actually live. A started day counts as a day. |
| Notification package already sent | Nothing. The messages have gone out and cannot be recalled. |
| Your ad was removed for breaking the rules or the law | Nothing. |
| We could not publish your ad for a reason on our side, or you were charged twice | Everything you paid for the part that failed. |
An example. You buy 90 days for £40. After four days you ask to cancel. The shortest plan covering four days is the 7-day plan at £7, so you get £33 back.
When you agreed to start straight away
When you pay, you choose the day your ad goes live. You are told at that point that publication begins on that day and that your right to cancel ends once the ad is live. Before that day you can still cancel and get everything back.
How long it takes
We reply within 5 working days. Card refunds reach your bank within about 5 to 10 working days after we send them. Refunds from Apple or Google follow their own timetable.
If you disagree
Reply to our e-mail and say why. Someone who was not involved in the first decision will look at it again within 5 working days.
